Senior Treasury Analyst – UAE National

IRIS Executives, leader in the Emiratization market is urgently looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst for one of its largest clients in Abu Dhabi (Only UAE Nationals will be considered for this role).

 

Job Responsibilities:

Senior Treasury Analyst – Front Office reports to Head of Treasury Operations. He / she is responsible for the short-term cash/liquidity/debt and risk management of the organization.

 

Other responsibilities:

 

·         Responsibility for all aspects of managing the company’s liquidity, specifically for group entities in the cash pool, and providing oversight for other entities and adhering to the key risk management principles of safety, liquidity and yield. He/she is responsible for delivering performance targets for the Front Office in line with agreed parameters.

·         Develop and manage the process for identification of daily cash requirements and execute daily borrowing/investment decisions.

·         Develop and manage the process for short and medium-term cash flow forecasting, including identification of FX exposures.

·         Negotiate with banks to obtain competitive rates for foreign exchange and money market instruments.

·         Evaluate, develop and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.

·         Review and recommend changes to the treasury policies based on the market conditions

·         Responsible for the day-to-day management of revolving facilities, ensuring timely drawdown and repayment, as well as monitoring of utilization and commitment fees.

·         Responsible for the management of in-house bank accounts, ensuring optimal use.

·         Responsibility for evaluating new financial products the company may participate in and making recommendation to senior management.

To qualify for this role, you must:

–      Have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, preferably with an emphasis in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management or equivalent.

–      Have a MM/FX market dealing experience

–      Minimum of 4 years’ progressive experience in Treasury in a large multinational environment.

–       In depth understanding of dealing with banks, foreign exchange instruments, money market instruments.

–       Experience with Quantum, Bloomberg, 360T platform is strongly preferred.

–       Excellent problem solving and analysis skills; be able to identify issues, adapt processes to find solutions or escalate issues, offering options, collaborates with key stakeholders, and makes recommendations.

–       Must have ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism and independent work management.

–        Ability to quickly learn and stay current on industry and marketplace trends.

–        Relationship building and customer service approach are paramount to success in this position.

–        Excellent communications skills, and ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization.

–        Proven experience building and leveraging business partnerships that drive results.

–        Must champion and embrace change, lead and influence others, contribute Treasury expertise and take action with integrity.

–        Unconventional working week – Monday to Friday

–        Proficiency in English Language

–          MS Office and computer proficiency

 

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

  • MBA, CMA
  • Certified Treasury Management qualification or Association of Corporate Treasurers qualification
  • Oil & Gas / Power and Water industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Arabic Language.
