The American University in Dubai (AUD), a private, non-sectarian institution of higher learning founded in 1995, is a pioneer in private higher education in the UAE. PURE HEART
The Pure Heart program is about guiding cancer patients/survivors to find their place in the workforce with an objective to lead a normal life once again. The program was established in September 2011 when a team of volunteers gathered to take a step forward in looking deeper into cancer patients’ lives. The main vision of the program is to help cancer patients to get back to their working lives by re-entering the workforce and become an active member of society. To raise awareness on the importance of supporting cancer patients, as well, to encourage companies to take CSR initiatives toward this cause.
